A Polish sausage grilled and topped with mustard and "works" sauce.
Mustard, \"Works\" Sauce, Chili (optional)
Prepare the "works" sauce by combining tomato paste, diced onion, diced green bell pepper, garlic powder and onion powder and water in a small to medium sauce pan. Retain enough thickness in the sauce so that it clings to whatever you put it on, without being runny. Keep warm over steam or low level burner.
Score and grill the Polish sausage until it is well singed and nearly blackened along the scoring serrations. Place the sausage on a warm, freshly steamed bun and add mustard and "works" sauce to taste.
